SPECIAL NOTICE:
RACE IS LIMITED TO FIRST 150 PARTICIPANTS. All need to be in the parking lot by 6:45 a.m. due to closing road and placing of the timing devices. 5K will start at 7:00 a.m. The course will close at 9:00 a.m. to open local traffic for the neighborhood. Awards will begin as soon as the first person crosses the finish line. There will be a trail car, bike or golf cart assistance as needed.
Is the run timed?
Yes. The run will be chipped timed. Disposable bibs will be used
Are there awards?
YES! Top 3 overall male and female will be awarded after top 3 in each category finish.
Can I get a refund on registration?
All registrations are final.
Is there a time limit to finish the course?
Yes. Streets must be cleared by 9:00 a.m.
Can we check bags?
No. It is important to lock items in the trunk of your car. Parking and start/finish line is very close.
Can I register the day of the event?
No, unfortunately registration will close on 11/8/22. Even more of reason to sign up now!
Is there an age limit?
No
Can someone else pick up my race packet?
Yes. As long as the person you are picking up for has a signed waiver on file and you have a photo copy of his/her ID (printed or phone picture).
How many awards will be given out?
The top 3 male and female runners will be given special awards
Will there be photographers at the event?
Yes. And all pics will be posted on the Facebook page as well as our flickr page
Other Notables
Parking fee and spectators welcome at no cost.
Strollers allowed
Pets are ok as long as you clean up after them and keep them on a leash.
Masks must be worn prior to the race and after runners cross the finish line.

COVID PROTOCOL
COVID Standards for the Fork Ran Away with the Spoon 5K
Packet pick-up and check-in:
No touch check-in, All medals bib, pins, in a prepackaged bag. There is a special mask provided. Social Distancing enforced.
Race Day:
•All runners are asked to keep a safe social distance between other runners. Masks must be worn before and after the race.
•Runners are asked to pass at a safe distance.
• Please Respect Social Distancing Keep at least 6-feet of space between you and others. Thank you!
Water stations
•Runners must bring their own reusable water containers.
•Water coolers will be at the start/finish line and at one other location on course for refills.
•Safe distances at the refill area with sanitizer.
•Hand sanitize before/after touching.
Personal Protective Equipment Management will wear masks.
Runners must wear masks when not out on the course.
Race Start
•Runners encouraged to stay 6-feet apart
•Wave start instead of mass start to reduce crowding
Sanitation and Cleaning
•Hand sanitizer will be available at the event at the water stop mark on the map.
•Hand wash stations when possible.
At-Risk or Sick Persons
Individuals who are in the higher risk categories are encouraged to postpone their return to live runs until a later date. If you feel sick or have a fever, please stay home and do not attend the run.
